Larry Kubal, Partner

Mr. Kubal has invested in seed and early stage information technology companies for the last 18 years. He is a founder of Labrador Ventures and serves as a managing partner of Labrador Ventures III, IV and V. Mr. Kubal is the Labrador representative with portfolio companies Aperto Networks, Pandora, PlayPhone, RocketFuel, Teraburst Networks, and Yardbarker. In addition to his investment experience, Mr. Kubal was a management consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton and worked in computerized database publishing for McGraw-Hill Publications Company and for the Academy for Educational Development. Mr. Kubal received his undergraduate degree from Duke University (1974), cum laude with departmental distinction, and his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business (1982).

Mr. Davidson has been investing in early stage companies for the past 17 years. He is a managing partner of Labrador Ventures. Mr. Davidson is the Labrador representative with portfolio companies Intruguard Devices, NextHop Technologies, Shotspotter, Transpera, and Ustream. In addition to his investment experience, Mr. Davidson was president of Alkermes, Inc. and also worked for MCI Communications and for Warner Communications. Mr. Davidson is a graduate of Harvard College (1978) and Harvard Business School (1984).

Mr. Foote has been a venture capitalist investing in early stage companies for the past 9 years. He is active on the board of directors of Altierre Corporation, Eoplex Technologies, Everyone.net, Integrated Materials Inc and Solaicx. Prior to venture investing, Mr. Foote was a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and a systems engineer for AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mr. Foote received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla (1988), and his MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business (1993).

Michael Pollasky, CPA, Director of Finance

Mr. Pollasky is the Director of Finance at Labrador Ventures where he is responsible for financial management and reporting.  Prior to joining Labrador, Mr. Pollasky was a member of the Private Equity Group at McGladrey& Pullen LLP where he focused on Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds and SBIC client financial and audit services.  Previously, he worked as an Accounting Analyst at Snap-on Tools Corporation.   Mr. Pollasky earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting  at Illinois State University .  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
